Cowork Session Archiver
since 2026 · ongoing
A Chrome extension that archives a claude.ai Cowork session as one complete ZIP — the raw event log, the images, every tool call, the files Claude wrote, and a readable transcript.
Cowork sessions are not conversations: the official export does not see them, and neither do the usual exporters. This extension asks for the session the same way the Cowork page does, with your own browser session, and keeps everything, untouched — the formatting comes later, from the raw dump.
You get a ZIP with the event log as the source of truth, the uploaded images, the files Claude wrote rebuilt from the log, the compaction summaries shown for what they are, and the transcript in Markdown and in HTML. One day at a time if you prefer, to hand a day back to Claude after a compaction.
Everything runs in the browser: no server, no analytics, nothing sent anywhere. Two companions: /endeavor/code/archive-cowork-conv-claude-desktop/ for the sessions of the desktop app, and /endeavor/code/archive-cowork-conv-claude-export-viewer/ to reopen an archive.

(Synthetic sessions from the tests, not a real conversation.)
