down4break? (antz)
since 2026 · ongoing
Shared focus rooms: pick a room name, a pseudonym and an emoji, set your focus and your break, and work alongside the other ants — no account, no timer bossing you around.
Down for a break?
Two ants high-five over a laptop that says nice. That is the whole spirit. You type a room name — or roll the dice for one, vallon_joyeux, anse_bourdonnant — and you join it if it exists, or it is created for you. Inside, you are an ant: a pseudonym (rolled too, paisible_phasme if you like), an emoji, and two sliders — focus, from five minutes to two and a half hours; break, from one minute to an hour. Then you enter, and the other ants appear as they arrive, each with their own rhythm.
No account, no leaderboard, no streak. A room is a place where people happen to be working at the same time, and where, once in a while, someone asks the question in the name.
